Tasting Room Welcomes New Manager
Meet the newest face at Chateau Bianca!
Matt Jonathan is a young wine enthusiast from San Fransisco. Having never tried wine before coming to the Willamette Valley, he was lucky enough to fall in love with Pinot Noir immediately. Matt graduated from Linfield College in 2010 and immediately set up to improve his wine knowledge with some first-hand Willamette Valley education. His wine travels have taken him to Australia’s popular Mornington Peninsula, as well as Napa and Sonoma in an effort to find the wines that truly sing. A lover of reds, Matt is also an avid sports fan, especially European football. This has already led to some intriguing discussions with Helmut regarding German fussball. Matt has taken advantage of Andreas passion not just for wine, but also pairing wine with food to learn invaluable tips and tricks to enjoy a meal’s full potential.
