July- Wetzel Wine Club
For many people joining a club involves a membership fee, an enrollment fee, or a continuing charge. Our Wine club which we call Wetzel Wine Club is a wonderful opportunity to receive our wines on a quarterly basis with little or no effort required. There is no charge to enroll in our club and no long-term commitments required. We always invite any patrons who appreciate our wine and its high quality to join the many others who want a more permanent way to continue to taste our wine and want to experience new flavors, new releases of wine, and have access to exclusive grape varietals that the general public does not. A good illustration of this is the June wine selection of our red which was the 2009 Syrah, bottled only the 3rd of June of this year and with only 98 cases produced. The wine is not only delicious at the moment, but it will cellar for many more years. There is still no planned introduction of this Syrah in our tasting room offerings for the next few months, so only Wetzel Wine Club members can obtain and purchase this wine if they choose. Because wine is so often shared with others, gifting our wine to someone else as a wine club membership is often a very meaningful and thoughtful way to say thank you to someone special in our lives.
Our Wetzel Wine Club offers a choice of picking up wine here when it is ready or having it shipped directly to your home or business. There is usually a good description along with tasting notes and production records that accompany the wine that you receive and the selection process is very rigorous. Members always have plenty of choices about the quantity of wine they receive as well as the discount amount they receive on our wines. Wine color preferences are also very flexible. If there is a preference for only red wines, that will be adhered to. Most members elect to receive a mix of white and red, but the choice is up to you.
There are several other benefits to joining our Wetzel Wine Club. A 15 % discount is offered at the B&B, a 15 % discount is offered on our winemaker dinners, and individual bottle discounts are offered in the tasting room. Special events are also held usually during the summer months that are free to Wine Club Members. It is always a pleasure to have people support our efforts when we try very hard to make great wine. Success is usually achieved through hard work and persistence, and we believe that our wine is very deserving of the high praise it consistently receives. A comment that I frequently hear is that our wine always pleases houseguests or dinner guests and we have long seen that people recognize and taste quality with our wine.
