Chateau Bianca Winery and Vineyard is a family-owned and operated winery established in 1990. The winery and vineyard are located in the Mid-Willamette Valley just outside of Dallas, Oregon. Chateau Bianca is committed to high-quality wines, so we keep our annual production small and handcrafted.

The Wetzel Family

Our family has carried on the fourth-generation wine-making tradition. Andreas’ great-grandfather started producing wine near Wurzburg, Germany. The family’s love of winemaking has crossed the globe, and our family has been producing wines in beautiful Oregon for over 35 years. Our experience has given us unique insights into this ever-changing wine industry. Andreas’ attention to detail garners Chateau Bianca’s many prestigious wine awards and offers wine enthusiasts the ability to try the wine first hand.
Chateau Bianca Winery estate vineyard is trained to a vertical upright canopy. This allows for shoot positioning, leaf removal, and enhanced air circulation. Moreover, it develops color and concentrates flavor in their wines. Our family’s winemaking philosophy consistently produces superior quality wines with intense flavor profiles. The Willamette Valley, with its gently rolling hills and unique microclimatic sites, allows Oregon to produce some of the finest Pinot Noirs in the world. We produce mainly Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc with a limited production of Sparkling wines, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Marechal Foch, Chardonnay, Ruby Port, and Vin de Glace. Our favorite specialty wine is our Northwest Comfort, which is our family’s Glühwein recipe.

Enjoy the fruits of our labor!

We are LIVE Certified (Low Impact Viticulture and Enology). LIVE certification means that we take measures to keep our quality high, our agriculture sustainable, and be stewards of the land. As Oregon continues to gain a foothold in the worldwide wine trade, the LIVE certification ensures that Chateau Bianca holds the highest certification in the world of sustainable viticulture. This is just part of the story behind the wine in the bottle.
